From economic and social development to environmental and cultural projects… Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007-2013” has funded 19 projects within the First Call for Proposals to achieve 3 objectives defined within the Programme in order to improve the quality of life in the Black Sea Basin. The EU Delegation to Ukraine has launched an initiative “European Village – Our Continent. Our Future” in Kiev, Ukraine in parallel to the EURO 2012 Football Championship during the period 2nd of June – 1st of July. The initiative aims at showing cooperation between the EU and Ukraine and the CBC programmes involving Ukraine are invited to showcase project and initiatives involving Ukrainian regions.
The sixth meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007 – 2013” was held in Bucharest on the 15th of May 2012.

The Joint Managing Authority of the Joint Operational Programme „Black Sea Basin 2007-2013” is pleased to announce that, in December 2011, the European Commission decided to increase the financial allocation of the ENPI budget of the Programme with 1.499.726 Euro, making the current total allocation raise to 25.696.516 Euro ENPI funds.
The Joint Managing Authority and the Joint Technical Secretariat, with the support of the Regional Capacity Building Initiative, organised the second training on project management and implementation for grant beneficiaries and partners under the First Call for Proposals, on the 24th and 25th of November 2011, in Bucharest. 194 applications have been submitted under the Second Call for Proposals. According to the Guidelines for Grant Applicants, Section 2.3 Evaluation and Selection of Applications, following the approval by the JMC of the Evaluation Report Step 1 Opening & Administrative checks, the Chairperson of the Selection Committee will send a letter to all Applicants, indicating whether their application was submitted prior to the deadline, informing them of the reference number they have been allocated and whether their application has been recommended for further evaluation. The administrative check is estimated to start in December 2011 and represents the first step in the evaluation and selection process of projects submitted under the Second Call for Proposals.
