As part of the project Promoting Cultural and Heritage-based Experiential Tourism in the Black Sea Basin, the partners have compiled a compendium of 40 cultural and heritage activities and events that could be used to create authentic tourist experiences throughout the region.
The beneficiaries of the project Promoting the Black Sea region as a wine tourism destination – TheSeaOfWine (BSB1034) prepared a whole Armenian experience in various wine routes offering a unique blend of history, tradition, and innovation, making it an attractive destination for wine enthusiasts and tourists interested in exploring a rich winemaking culture.

The partners of the project Copernicus assisted environmental monitoring across the Black Sea Basin – PONTOS (BSB889) developed several tools to assess the environment in the area targeted by the project: Sevan Lake and Sevan Lake Basin in Armenia, Rioni River Delta and Kolkheti National Park in Georgia, Nestos River and Nestos River Delta in Greece and Coastline from Odesa city to the Danube river delta as well as Dniester river delta area and adjacent estuary in Ukraine.
The partners of the project Black Sea Basin Geographical Indications Network - BS GIN (BSB1191) stressed the Black Sea basin potential in terms of GI products.
The partners of the project Establishing Long-Lasting Partnerships to Upgrade Heritage-Based Offers and Create New Investment Opportunities in Tourism and the Cultural and Creative Industries at UNESCO Designated Areas in the Black Sea Basin – HERIPRENEURSHIP, developed the UNESCO Experiential Heritage Corridor, a trail connecting 60 geolocations in the Black Sea Basin with integrated tourist selling points.
Artium Center in Nessebar is once again hosting a cartographic exhibition presenting the importance of the Black Sea for European development. The presence of the region on geographical maps from antiquity to the present day reflects the changes and trends in cartography and demonstrates the importance of the Black Sea coast to the continent over the centuries.
Within the project Zero Waste Strategy: Methods and Implementation in Black Sea Basin – ZeroWasteBSB (BSB788), Kirklareli Special Provincial Administration implemented a pilot project in Turkiye with a Zero Waste System covering all 39 villages belonging to Vize and Demirkoy Districts.
