During the fourth meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee held last week in Odessa, the results of the quality assessment of the applications submitted during the second Call for Proposals were approved. A brief summary is available here.
This year, to celebrate European Cooperation Day, a Solid Waste collecting Action will be conducted at the Black Sea, because generating environmental attitudes is essential in the fight against climate change and the reduction of environmental pollution.
The new generation of projects to be funded under the Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020 has been approved by the Joint Monitoring Committee during the meeting held in Odessa, Ukraine, on 17th of September 2019.
Having regard to the entry into force of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) and the obligations resulting thereof, the Managing Authority has issued an Instruction to support the beneficiaries of the Joint Operational Programme Black Sea Basin 2014-2020.
The assessment process of the applications submitted during the second Call for Proposals is running according to the foreseen calendar. All the applications have been evaluated and the Quality Assessment Report of the Selection Committee is submitted to the Joint Monitoring Committee for consideration and final approval in September 2019.

The Quality Assessment of the applications is running according to the schedule. The first requests for clarifications were sent today in the eMS for the applications submitted within the second Call for proposals.
The Project Implementation Manual applicable for the beneficiaries of the ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme is currently under revision.
