Acknowledging the current situation generated by COVID-19 and considering the necessity to address the negative consequences of the current crisis caused by the pandemic of coronavirus disease with implications on the implementation of projects, Managing Authority has issued a Note for beneficiaries listing indicative measures to deal with health related risks and to mitigate the impact of the coronavirus crisis.
The following indicative measures are included in the document:
1. Beneficiaries may consider using their potential economies under any budget line and irrespective of the group of activities, for making acquisitions related to the fight against COVID-19, for purposes linked with the project objective(s).
2. Beneficiaries may consider taking any of the following indicative measures in order to reduce the health related risks caused by COVID-19 during project implementation and to increase the capacity of stakeholders to timely deal with the crisis: purchase of sanitary or protective equipment, devices, signaling plaques relevant for the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, cleaning actions, set up suitable decontamination/disinfection arrangements at the entrance of museums, touristic places etc., display of educational and protective plaques; include in various materials (brochures, leaflets, etc) Coronavirus related educational and protective information, adapting/adding related topics in the training curricula etc.
