On February 7th, 2023, in Istanbul, Türkiye, took place the first meeting of the (Interreg VI-B) NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme Monitoring Committee.
The representatives of the seven participating countries (Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine), the European Commission, Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat and TESIM Project discussed the main aspects related to the first call for proposals, the content of the Application Packs, project evaluation and selection rules, as well as the Monitoring Committee’s Rules of Procedure.
Monitoring Committee members approved the Application Packs for both standard and small-scale projects, both to be included in the first call for project proposals to be launched under the Programme during the next period. Furthermore, the (Interreg VI-B) NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme Monitoring Committee Rules of Procedure, describing the organization and functioning of the Committee, were also approved.
