The ninth meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee of the Joint Operational Programme “Black Sea Basin 2007 – 2013” was held in Tulcea, Romania, between 9th-10th of October 2014.

The meeting was attended by members of the Joint Monitoring Committee, representatives of the Joint Managing Authority (Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration), Audit Authority within Romanian Court of Accounts, European Commission.

The Joint Monitoring Committee reviewed some management decisions taken by the JMA related to the contracting process of the applications submitted under the second call of proposals and also discussed aspects related to the implementation of the projects awarded under the two calls of proposals, the results achieved so far by the projects and the status of the financial implementation of the joint operational programme. Preliminary discussions regarding programme closure were carried out as well.
