During January 30-31, 2024, in Bucharest, Romania, the second meeting of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme Monitoring Committee took place.
The representatives of the eight participating countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine), the European Commission, Managing Authority, Joint Secretariat, TESIM project and Audit Authority discussed the results of the first calls for project proposals, the perspective of achieving the targets set for Programme indicators and the use of available funds, as well as the content of application packs for the second calls for project proposals.
The Monitoring Committee approved the new generation of projects to be funded under the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme, as submitted within the first calls for proposals: 33 projects with a total value of EU Interreg funding of 30.5 million Euro. Congratulations to all 151 partners from all participating countries for their efforts in developing good projects! Information on the results of the assessment process will be communicated soon to all applicants.
