The 1st calls for proposals launched within the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme were closed on the 4th of July 2023.
151 applications have been submitted, out of which 93 on regular projects and 58 on small scale projects, totalling 642 partners and 125 million Euro in Interreg funds requested.
The largest number of applicants are interested in implementing projects to contribute to the protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure and the reduction of all forms of pollution. The geographical coverage is quite balanced between partners that submitted application for both regular and small-scale projects.
