The seventh meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee for ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 was virtually held on the 14th of December 2022.
The representatives of the participating countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine), the European Commission and TESIM project discussed the programme state-of-play.
The status and the results delivered by the projects were presented to the JMC members. A total of 57 projects were contracted from both calls for proposals. The total value of the projects is 48.8 million euro, out of which 44.9 million euro are ENI funds. 34 projects reached the end of the implementation period, the rest continuing their implementation.
Referring to the small-scale investments, at the Programme level, 16 projects proposed a total of 34 investments. So far, 26 small-scale investments have been finalized, the rest being in progress.
Furthermore, during the meeting, were discussed the main provisions of Regulation (EU) 2022/2192 laying down specific provisions for the 2014-2020 cooperation programmes supported by the European Neighbourhood Instrument and under the European territorial cooperation goal, facing implementation disruption as a result of Russia's military aggression against Ukraine. Following the discussions, it was agreed to use the flexibility regarding project co-financing, included in the foregoing act. Further details will soon be communicated to the beneficiaries.
