Representatives of the Managing Authority, National Authorities and representatives of the institutions likely to perform the role of Control Contact Point (CCP) from each participating country have gathered in Bucharest on the 05th of June 2014 for the 2nd Joint Working Group Meeting on Programme Management and Control Systems.
Considering the involvement of Ukraine and Republic of Moldova in other ENI CBC programmes, the event was organized as a joint working group and the representatives of the Managing Authorities/Joint Technical Secretariats of the Programmes Romania – Ukraine and Romania – Republic of Moldova attended the meeting.
The event was organized with the support of the experts from ENI CBC Support to the preparation of programmes (SPP) and INTERACT ENPI.
The aim of the meeting was to facilitate the appointment of the institution to fulfil the role of Control Contact Point and to assist in determining the control functions to be implemented by the Control Contact Point in each country.
The participants discussed at technical level about the role and responsibilities of the Control Contact Points and the alternatives for expenditure verification at project level.
Further discussions will take place at national level and decisions regarding the appointment of the national bodies to fulfil the role of Control Contact Point (CCP), each country’s option for expenditure verification and the tasks of CCP shall be taken at the next meeting of the Joint Programming Committee, which will take place in Brussels (Belgium) on 17th-18th of July 2014.
