During 14-18 September 2020, 20 members from the project team are attending the online workshop on PRIMER 7 software. The workshop delivered by the Plymouth Marine Laboratory introduces to the participants the latest updates on PRIMER v7 which provides a wide range of univariate, graphical and multivariate routines for analysing arrays of species-by-samples data from community ecology.
The workshop provides an intensive and extensive overview of statistical methods in non-parametric analysis of multivariate data (biological, environmental and chemical). It is useful to both those who are new to PRIMER and to those who are “old hands”, but have not yet had a chance to get up to speed with the latest developments in version 7.
The complexity of the obtained data during several scientific cruises requires a special statistical analysis, which can be accomplished by using PRIMER 7 as a tool. The knowledge gained will be used by the team of scientists for preparing the planned reports.
