The seventh meeting of the Joint Programming Committee for the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027

The seventh meeting of the Joint Programming Committee – body responsible for the preparation of the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027 – was held in virtual format on the 25th of November 2021.

The representatives of the nine participating countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine) and the European Commission discussed the third draft Programme, a version developed based on the conclusions of the public consultation with the stakeholders in the participating countries during October – November 2021 and following the communication of the financial allocation of the Programme by the European Commission.

Following the discussions during the meeting, it was agreed to publish the third draft Programme for public consultations, as well as to send it to the European Commission for informal consultations.

Moreover, it was discussed and agreed on the updated performance framework methodology proposal for setting up the indicators at the Programme level, developed following the communication of the Programme budget by the European Commission. The Managing Authority – with the support of TESIM ENI CBC – technical assistance project funded by the EU – continues to organize public consultations over the eligible area of the Programme in order to further develop and finalize the cooperation Programme document. The documents of public interest regarding the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027 are published regularly on this website at www.blacksea-cbc.net in the dedicated section for the next Programme.
