Welcome to the Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013 website!

The Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2007-2013 (hereafter Black Sea JOP) is a programme under the European Neighborhood & Partnership Instrument (ENPI) of the EU. It aims to contribute to: “a stronger and sustainable economic and social development of the regions of the Black Sea Basin”.

The programme´s three specific objectives, are:

  • Promoting economic and social development in the border areas
  • Working together to address common challenges
  • Promoting local, people-to-people cooperation

In this website you will discover all specificities of the programme, such as which are the eligibility areas, who can apply, what are the foreseen priorities and measures of the programme, information regarding the awarded joint actions under implementation as well as download all programme documents and identifying potential partners.

The first meeting of the Joint Programming Committee for the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027

The first meeting of the Joint Programming Committee – body responsible for the preparation of the Interreg NEXT (Neighbourhood External) Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027 – was held on the 29th of January 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. The eligible participating countries of the new Programme involves ten states from the Black Sea Basin: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine.
