During March-April 2019, the project partners from the project “ANEMONE – Assessing the vulnerability of the Black Sea marine ecosystem to human pressures“ organized 4 workshops on the topic of marine litter involving citizens in finding and applying solutions to the marine litter problem and public awareness of marine environmental issues.

Over 130 participants registered in these workshops tackling the same problem with different approaches: presentations and working groups versus clean-up actions and practical analysis on the coastal land status.

The participants in the clean-up actions collected over 200 kg of unwanted or unusable materials. Read more about the workshops on the project website: ANEMONE website.
