Open environmental eFolio for joint maritime spatial planning and conservation of the valuable Black Sea Basin marine ecosystems
The project aims to address environmental issues, including eutrophication, overexploitation of marine resources, chemical pollution, and changes in biodiversity by raising awareness of the importance of conserving ecosystems, engaging target groups in maritime spatial planning, improving access to scientific data, involving stakeholders in capacity building, and expending cross-border collaboration. The project results include long-term support, extensive knowledge of using open scientific data, and increased capacity for managing marine protected areas.
