During this stage the applications received are evaluated by a Selection Committee (SC), incorporating 5members, representatives of the participating countries appointed on a rotation basis and a number of external experts depending on the workload and specificities of the Call.
The Selection Committee checks the administrative compliance of the application and the eligibility of the project in parallel, and then proceeds with the technical evaluation of the applications that have passed the eligibility check.
The entire evaluation procedure with the Selection Committee recommendations is recorded in an Evaluation report, submitted to the Joint Monitoring Committee (JMC) for approval.
The JMC then approves the project proposals list/ranking and the recommendations made by the Selection Committee
Based on the formal approval of the list of projects by the Joint Monitoring Committee, the JMA announces publically the selected projects.
More details can be found in the Guidelines for Applicants and in the Black Sea JOP programming document.
