ANEMONE (BSB319) – Public engagement in marine litter monitoring

Mare Nostrum NGO addresses an open invitation to those interested in marine litter monitoring. The workshop is organized within the project “Assessing the vulnerability of the Black Sea marine ecosystem to human pressures“, ANEMONE (BSB319) and will take place on 27 March 2019, from 10:00 to 16:00, at Hotel Ibis, Constanta.

This workshop is an essential activity for engaging the public in marine litter monitoring and public awareness on marine issues. During this workshop, the participants will have the opportunity to learn how to get involved in the monitoring of marine litter at the Romanian Black Sea coast, but also how their data are used, how to quantify their involvement and how the data interpretation process is made.
