Between June 1-7, 2020, Mare Nostrum NGO has prepared a unique online festival – “Green Week Online Fest” – dedicated to World Environment Day, celebrated every year on June 5.
The festival is dedicated to the knowledge of marine and terrestrial biodiversity in Constanta County, through which you will discover various aspects related to marine life, flora and fauna of protected areas in Dobrogea, and the pressures they try to cope with every day. You will also learn how to get involved and protect the environment, with small gestures, in everyday life.
Follow the festival on the Facebook page of the Mare Nostrum NGO, be active and participate in the daily challenges and you will be able to win environmentally responsible awards.

The event is organized under the project “Improving online public access to environmental monitoring data and data tools for the Black Sea Basin supporting cooperation in the reduction of marine litter – MARLITER”, BSB 138. The overall objective of the project is to promote a stronger cross-border integration of information, knowledge and expertise in the field of environmental monitoring and marine waste issues in the Black Sea basin.
The European Union needs to show concrete results of its cooperation and development actions, and so does the ENI CBC community. At all times, communication activities should pursue the overall objective of increasing the knowledge of cross-border cooperation at the external borders of the EU and its position as a valuable, strategic tool for the EU and its neighbours.
DG Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE) and The Joint Research Centre, in cooperation with DG Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), are organising the Workshop “Smart Specialisation for Sustainable Blue Economy” on 6 July 2021, at 09.00 – 12.45 CET.
The training sessions are organised by the programme management structures and are aiming to enhance capacity of beneficiaries to collect, consolidate and report the progress achieved by the projects.
