The application stage starts with the “Call for Proposals”, and finishes with the submission of the Application by the applicant. Calls for Proposals are published in the national and regional media as well as on the current website.
The Calls for Proposals are inviting potential applicants to consult the respective Guidelines for Applicants and start preparing accordingly their Applications. The “Guidelines for Applicants” delivered to potential applicants provide all the necessary information regarding the eligibility of projects and of applicants, the project selection criteria, the require documents composing the application, and the procedures of project selection and implementation.
During the Application stage the Joint Managing Authority (JMA) in cooperation with its national counterparts, organise a number of Information Events such as trainings, workshops and other, in order to support the potential applicants in the preparation of their applications.
The first meeting of the Joint Programming Committee – body responsible for the preparation of the Interreg NEXT (Neighbourhood External) Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027 – was held on the 29th of January 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. The eligible participating countries of the new Programme involves ten states from the Black Sea Basin: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine.
