The sixth meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee for ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020


The sixth meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee for ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Programme 2014-2020 was virtually held on the 9th of December 2021.

The representatives of the participating countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Turkey and Ukraine), the European Commission, Audit Authority and TESIM project discussed the programme state-of-play.

The status and the results delivered by the projects were presented to the JMC members.

Up to now, 57 projects were contracted from both calls for proposals. The total value of the projects is 48.8 million euro, where 44.9 million euro from ENI funds. From the first Call for Proposals, 21 out of 24 projects reached the end of the implementation period. The rest of the projects are continuing their implementation.

Referring to the small-scale investments, at the programme level 16 projects proposed in total 35 investments. So far, 14 small-scale investments from 8 projects were finalized, the rest of them are in progress.

Workshop for beneficiaries on developing Effective Communication

The European Union needs to show concrete results of its cooperation and development actions, and so does the ENI CBC community. At all times, communication activities should pursue the overall objective of increasing the knowledge of cross-border cooperation at the external borders of the EU and its position as a valuable, strategic tool for the EU and its neighbours.

Training for Beneficiaries from the 2nd Call for proposals

The training sessions are organised by the programme management structures and are aiming to enhance capacity of beneficiaries to collect, consolidate and report the progress achieved by the projects.
