Selection of independent assessors in charge of supporting the evaluation of proposals submitted under the programme – deadline 20th of May 2010


The Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism – acting as Joint Managing Authority for the Joint Operational Programme „Black Sea 2007-2013” – is launching this Call for Assessors in order to identify and select qualified and experienced professionals for establishing a pool of assessors and thus to ensure a proper technical and quality evaluation of the proposals submitted under this Programme.

The deadline for receiving applications is the 20th of May 2010 at 13:30 hours, at the headquarters of the Romanian Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism in Bucharest.

The deadline for receiving requests for clarification from potential applicants is 12th of May 2010 at 12:00 and the deadline for receiving answers to clarification requests is 14th of May 2010. The answers to clarification requests shall be published on the programme’s website at and on the SEAP website: at Notices/Contract notices (no.99303/03rd of May 2010), section documentation and clarifications for the notice of the call.

This year, to celebrate European Cooperation Day, a Solid Waste collecting Action was conducted at the Black Sea, because generating environmental attitudes is essential in the fight against climate change and the reduction of environmental pollution.
It is a step closer in spreading awareness of environmental challenges and good waste management practices in the Black Sea Basin region. Further, by involving children it was anticipated to improve attitudes towards the environment.
