The second meeting of the Joint Monitoring Committee was held in Bucharest at the headquarters of the Ministry of Regional Development and Housing on the 26 and 27 of February 2009.
Representatives from the participating countries in the programme (Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey, and Ukraine) as well as representatives of the European Commission attended the meeting.
The Joint Monitoring Committee members discussed and approved the application package and decided that the first call for proposals under this programme will be launched in April.
The first meeting of the Joint Programming Committee – body responsible for the preparation of the Interreg NEXT (Neighbourhood External) Black Sea Basin Programme 2021-2027 – was held on the 29th of January 2020 in Brussels, Belgium. The eligible participating countries of the new Programme involves ten states from the Black Sea Basin: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Republic of Moldova, Romania, Russian Federation, Turkey and Ukraine.
