The ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2014-2020 launching conference gathered more than 250 people in Constanta, last week, on 14 July 2016. Representatives of local and regional authorities, chambers of agriculture, commerce and industry, civil society organisations, universities, educational andresearch institutions of both EU Member States and CBC Partner Countries participated in the event and received information about the preliminary version of the Application Pack for the first call for proposals.
The Partnership Forum which was organized after the conference provided the participants the opportunity to network and identify and/or share ideas for future common projects. The discussions among participants were vivant, constructive and led to the development of new partnerships and to the consolidation of the existing ones.
The ENI CBC BSB JOP 2014-2020 will finance cross border cooperation projects, developed by competent and relevant partners taking into account the existing knowledge, which shall ensure synergies and complementarities with other strategies or initiatives and aim at concrete, visible, sustainable and transferable results.
We thank all the participants for the active participation and for the huge interest in the ENI CBC Black Sea Basin Joint Operational Programme 2014-2020!

The European Union needs to show concrete results of its cooperation and development actions, and so does the ENI CBC community. At all times, communication activities should pursue the overall objective of increasing the knowledge of cross-border cooperation at the external borders of the EU and its position as a valuable, strategic tool for the EU and its neighbours.
DG Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (DG MARE) and The Joint Research Centre, in cooperation with DG Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO), are organising the Workshop “Smart Specialisation for Sustainable Blue Economy” on 6 July 2021, at 09.00 – 12.45 CET.
The training sessions are organised by the programme management structures and are aiming to enhance capacity of beneficiaries to collect, consolidate and report the progress achieved by the projects.
