Developed within the framework of the Transnational Technology Transfer Network for the Black Sea Basin project, the Portal is a transnational and innovative networking platform designed to promote knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and regional development.
It addresses knowledge and technology accumulation in the Black Sea Basin from a holistic and forward-looking perspective.
The Portal brings together academicians, students, entrepreneurs, industrialists, and umbrella organizations with the aim to:
- Facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience among stakeholders in the Black Sea Basin, particularly among partner countries (Türkiye, Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania)
- Support the development of innovative solutions and projects through coordinated R&D activities
- Promote sustainable and innovative solutions to common regional challenges
- Disseminate technological developments and increase opportunities for cooperation
- Contribute to new business creation and economic development in the region
The Portal provides a wide range of tools and opportunities to support collaboration and innovation:
- Personal and Corporate Profile Creation. Users can create personal and organizational profiles free of charge, enabling them to expand their professional networks and strengthen collaborations.
- Seamless Communication and Collaboration. Registered users can organize online meetings and communicate directly through instant messaging.
- Consortium Building for Projects. Through published project calls and declarations of interest, users can identify suitable partners and build strong consortia for joint projects.
- Access to R&D Solutions. Users can share their R&D needs and collaborate with professionals and institutions offering relevant expertise and solutions.
- Investment Opportunities. Entrepreneurs and companies can connect with investors, receive mentoring and financial support, develop investment proposals, transition to mass production, and engage in marketing activities.
- Advanced Networking Activities. By connecting with professionals across the region, users can enhance scientific collaboration and create new business opportunities.
- Project Calls and Event Announcements. The Portal provides up-to-date information on project calls and events, helping users participate in innovative initiatives and key ecosystem activities.
In addition, users can access key project outputs through the platform, including the Comprehensive Study Report, Training Modules, Online Technology Catalogue, and Project Database.
To date, approximately 350 registrations from the four partner countries have been completed. Project partners will continue promotional and dissemination activities at both national and international levels to raise awareness of the Portal’s content, objectives, and benefits.
Furthermore, a detailed Registration Guide for the portal and the User Guide for platform features have been prepared and made available to all users.
