Building a future that is resilient and compatible with climate change is a key priority for countries pursuing their sustainable development goals.

In this context, innovative technologies offer effective solutions not only at the national level but also across borders.

Within this framework, the Transnational Technology Transfer Network for the Black Sea Basin has published the Catalogue of Promising and Mature Technologies and Innovations. The catalogue aims to enhance international cooperation, knowledge sharing, and technology transfer by showcasing mature and emerging technologies developed within national R&D and innovation ecosystems that have not yet reached international markets.

The technologies included in the catalogue were evaluated using multi-dimensional criteria, including environmental sustainability, economic viability, social impact, and potential for international scalability. As a result of this assessment process, a total of 63 innovative technologies were identified and presented in an interactive online format. These include 18 technologies from Türkiye, 10 from Greece, 15 from Bulgaria, and 20 from Romania.

The catalogue provides a comprehensive overview of nationally developed technologies that demonstrate scalability, resilience, and long-term viability across a wide range of sectors. It is designed as an inspirational and practical resource for investors, public institutions, private sector actors, academia, and civil society organizations working in the fields of climate change adaptation and resilience. In addition, it serves as a starting point for cross-border collaboration by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, experience, and innovation among countries in the Black Sea Basin.
