The project Interdisciplinary Solutions for Smart Sustainable Tourism and Services for Blue Growth in the Black Sea Basin – INTERSMARTS launched the InnoPlatform, a cutting-edge digital space designed to drive innovation and sustainable solutions in the tourism sector and blue economy. 

This platform is now fully operational and open to the public.

The platform connects professionals from across Europe to collaborate on addressing the real-world challenges faced by the tourism industry. It fosters the exchange of innovative ideas, proven approaches, and sustainable solutions—enabling users to actively contribute to the future of the sector.

Key Features of the INTERSMARTS Platform:

• Submit a Challenge: Share a challenge based on your own professional experience in tourism or the blue economy and receive feedback from a network of experts.
• Discover Solutions: Browse and explore successful, innovative practices that have been implemented across Europe, especially within the Black Sea region.

The platform is available in five languages—Bulgarian, English, Turkish, Greek, and Moldovan—making it accessible to a wide audience across the Black Sea Basin and beyond.

The platform has already published a number of initial challenges, and the first batch of users have provided encouraging feedback from pilot sessions. 96 cases have been shared, with 24 case studies contributed by partner institutions, addressing critical topics such as: sustainable infrastructure, resource management, enti-pollution and waste management, alleviating seasonality in tourism and technology transfer and innovation
