We are pleased to announce the completion of the Environmental and Ocean Literacy Education Manual, developed under the Environmental and Ocean Literacy in the Black Sea Basin project (BSB00432).
The manual is a comprehensive and practical guide designed to strengthen marine focused learning across the region. It was shaped by feedback from a pilot training with 23 civil society and local government participants and includes five engaging, ready to use modules:
- The Sea Breeze – an icebreaker to explore personal connections to the sea
- Find the Right Term – card based games introducing key concepts
- Discover the Black Sea – interactive learning about Black Sea biodiversity
- Imagine the Future of the Black Sea – a creative session on marine challenges and solutions
- Evaluation and Closing – a space for feedback and reflection
