MicroDanger

Protecting the Black Sea Ecosystem by raising public and sectoral awareness and reducing microplastic pollution

Microplastic pollution is harming organisms in the Black Sea, and the lack of standardized detection methods and coordinated regional action is worsening the issue. The project brings together five Black Sea countries to apply standardized scientific methods and targeted, culturally adapted awareness activities that reduce microplastic pollution through cross-border cooperation and stakeholder engagement.
