The Black Sea fisheries and aquaculture sector suffers from low innovation capacity, limited digitalization, and weak collaboration between research and industry, hindering sustainable Blue Economy development. TIMMOD-NEXT creates a transnational network of Open-Air Labs that connects research, businesses, and stakeholders to test, scale, and implement innovative, eco-friendly technologies for sustainable fisheries and aquaculture.
