easyPEST

EstAblishing long-term monitoring SYstem for plant PESTs around the Black Sea

Invasive alien insect pests of trees are increasingly threatening ecosystems, economies, and public well-being in the Black Sea Basin due to climate change, global trade, and the lack of coordinated early detection and cross-border monitoring systems. The project develops and pilots an AI-based, citizen-supported early warning platform that enables cross-border collaboration, standardized monitoring, and timely responses to invasive pests, strengthening regional resilience and awareness.
