Strengthening BSB Local Capacities for Environmental Awareness in and through sport
The BSB region struggles with increasing marine pollution and the environmental impact of land-based activities like sport, alongside low engagement and limited capacity of local authorities and the sporting community to promote sustainable practices. The GreenMascot project aims to build the capacity of local administrations, sports organizations, and communities to raise environmental awareness and promote sustainability in sports through training, toolkit development, and transnational cooperation across the region.
