Lead Partner of the project Establishing and Operating an Innovative Marine Technology Transfer Network for Enhancing the Transition to a Sustainable Blue Economy in the Black Sea Basin will lead a three-day Instrumentation Training Workshop 2-4 July 2025 in Kavala, Greece. The workshop will focus on micro-AUV operations, mission planning, and data management, ensuring that all partner teams are well-prepared for upcoming field missions.
The training program is designed to include theoretical lectures on the principles and operation of micro-AUVs, hands-on field practicals at sea to familiarise participants with balancing and trajectory monitoring under variable densities, and outdoor exercises for GPS acquisition and magnetic compass calibration.
